I don't know what to say about this pattern that already hasn't been said. It's a great pattern that's perfect for beginning lace knitters. It's a quick knit. I finished it in less than a week, four days actually.. but I did start this when I went on a road trip. So that did have a hand in how I finished it so fast. But seriously, within the fours it took for us to get to our destination, I wound the yarn and nearly finished the stockinette portion.

The yarn is amazing.. super soft and really drapey. I practically wore this scarf almost every day for two weeks after I made it.. then the weather freaked out and it got warm. But I love this thing to death. I've learned that I'm not so much an over the shoulder kind of shawl wearer, but a 'round the neck kind of girl. I like to call this style, the "bandit scarf," a la Billy the Kid.

I may look all kinds of goofy wearing it this way, but it keeps me warm, makes me feel young and I love it. So here's to me and Ishbel, riding off happily into the sunset.
