Ready to get this party started?

Sorry to leave you high and dry for almost two weeks. Wedding and especially crafty posts will be rolling out on a regular basis shortly. I just wanted to drop in and show one of my current projects, a belated baby quilt... Just how belated? Let's just say, a new goal of mine is to roll out baby quilts before the baby turns one. If this doesn't make it out by May, I will fail on my first pass.

Quilt progress

Fortunately, it's only March (Yipes! Where did the time go?) and the quilt is well on it's way to being done. Quilt top? CHECK. Quilt back? CHECK. Quilt Sandwich? CHECK. Binding made and read to go? CHECK. Quilting? I'll holler at you in a week or so for a little status report. Hopefully it will be done by then.

Very pretty!!!

please teach me how to quilt! :)

btw, where does "yaiAnn" come from?

It's so cute!

Ohhh, I loove the colors in this quilt!!! Very very pretty!

Oh, I love the colors you've chosen. I'm notoriously late with presents too, you're not alone. At least it's handmade, right?

I think you made the right choice on the colors. The orange and pink really pop. I can't wait to see the whole thing finished!

This is such a cool quilt! You are so awesome and talented.

That's a very pretty quilt! I understand about making crafty deadlines. I'm actually behind on my baby bib gifts for my co-worker; his wife is due any time with triplets!

Beautiful colors...and as usual, exquisite work! Some little baby is going to be blessed with a very special gift! Congratulations...it's just lovely!

Very pretty! I'm actually making 'learning to quilt' a goal for this year. I've already started a fabric stash. ;)

I love the color and pattern combinations.

Lovin' these fabrics!

Dood. I have to make a quilt for birthday boy by next tuesday. I started it around this time last year for his birthday....um, last year. Le sigh.
