When the cool kids come to town, you never want them to leave.. You're always saying, "You should move here! Don't you want to move here? You know you want to move here!" Of course circumstance won't have that, so the next best thing to do would be to clone yourself. (Of course circumstance won't have that either, but we can dare to dream or just live through photoshop).

2x everyone but me and Steph, I guess we'll never leave San Francisco.
A little whirlwind archivist tour came to San Francisco as we were blessed by the presence of Lolly and Nova last week. Much fun and laughs were had. It was neverending.
We had breakfast in the city and then checked out and goofed off the art sculpture in Hayes Valley

Did I mention that we goofed off?

We then promptly made our way over to the East Bay to hit up Stonemountain and Daughter fabrics. They oogled over the buttons for a while..

Buttons and fabric were purchased and some inspiration was to be had.

Then we headed to look at yarn at Article Pract. Gotta love that sale rack! Then headed over to get a snack at Bakesale Betty and watched them put together fried chicken sandwiches.

If chicken is your thang, this is where it's at
One of the other reasons why I love Bakesale Betty, is their baked goods of course, but also because of their ironing board tables.

And I'm apparently not the only one that loves this place. Their seating area (outdoor only), goes on for at least 4-5 storefronts..

But back to the fun.. we finally made our way back to the city to have lunch and hit up Imagiknit. Three people might have left with yarn to make fraternal Tapestry Cowls. And then we made our way over to Tartine, after hitting up Bi-Rite for ice cream, for another snack and to just relax.

After some restful stitches we made our way to Kinokuniya to check out Japanese crafty goodness and then went off to dinner to chat and laugh some more before we headed our separate ways for the night. But it doesn't end there. We all met up one more time to have dinner before the goodbyes were said. Lolly headed off first. Which left Nova a few more hours to squeeze in a little more San Francisco. So naturally, we headed up to Twin Peaks.. and then ended the night with more ice cream at Mitchell's.

Happy Belated Birthday to Us!
And then there were none as we bid goodbye to the last archivist. Thanks for the fun times ladies! We'll miss you!
