Presents, especially unexpected ones are by far the best. And I must say, knitters/sewists/crafters/foodies definitely give the best gifts. Let's start with near.

Steph got me Fitted Knits! I'm already eyeing a few projects. She also made me some note cards with some beautiful silk fabric. It is bad of me not to want to send these out and just frame them?

And from "kind of far" we have a cake stand from Yahaira and the Martha Stewart Baking Handbook from Nova. These gifts are definitely fit for the foodie in me. The cake stand is perfect as I've been on a hunt for them and now she's given me my first one to start off my collection. And the Martha Stewart book can't get any more beautiful than it already is! I've already got my eye on the first recipe I want to try, the caramelized banana cake! Ohhhh yeah!

And from really far, like "far east" far, are presents from Mari from her trip to Japan! There are so many goodies in this package, I nearly squealed. First a few fun items, chopsticks in beautiful paper sleeves and toothpicks in origami polo shirts! Then the yummy item, jasmine tea, MY FAVORITE! Then the cool item, an antique sake cup. Then the even cooler item, fabric!

And then, the coolest item of them all, drumroll, please.... a Lotta Jansdotter book! yahooooooooooo! It's the Lotta Jansdotter, "Handmade Project" book. Holy cow, as if all the previous items weren't enough, this definitely was the icing on the cake! Yes, of course you want to see some projects.
You can never have too many skirts

Bags? You can never have enough of those either!
Thanks so much everyone! I forsee a busy summer.
